Colin Doyle Makes It Personal

Toronto – Recently, Toronto Rock captain Colin Doyle had the opportunity to visit a pair of season ticket holders and personally deliver their season tickets.

Colin and his daughter Brooklyn hit the road and visited the Loucks and Kluczynski families and handed them their 2011 Rock tickets along with a few special gifts from the lacrosse club.

“It was quite an honour on my behalf to be able to go there and give them their season tickets,” explained Captain Doyle when speaking about the chance to meet face to face with some of the biggest Toronto Rock fans.

Chris Kluczynski and his wife Christine greeted Colin on the front steps of their Burlington home decked out in Rock gear which they explained was normal Saturday attire for them.

The 2011 season will be the second as season ticket holders for Chris and his wife who were anxiously awaiting the arrival of their tickets.

“I’ve been waiting for these for like the last month and a half,” said Chris who has had the January 8th home opener circled on his calendar for months.

The Loucks family in Oakville are long time season ticket holders and have certainly made it a family tradition to attend Rock games, not only at home but often on the road.  Last season, the family made the trek out to Everett, Washington to support the Rock at the NLL Championship game against the Washington Stealth.

“He was a week old for one of the games I brought him to,” said Michelle Loucks of one of her son’s first Rock experience.

The Toronto Rock will open their 2011 regular season at home against the Edmonton Rush.  Game time is 7:00pm at Air Canada Centre.
