Fox Sports World Canada to Broadcast NLL Champion

NEW YORK – The National Lacrosse League and Fox Sports World Canada have announced the network will carry a live broadcast of the 2006 RBK NLL Championship Game presented by Edge Active, live on Saturday, May 13 at 6 p.m. EST.

Fox Sports World Canada also broadcast the April 29 NLL West Division Final, won 13-12 by Colorado over Arizona.

“The playoffs are the most exciting time of the season, and we are pleased to be able to offer these two games to our Canadian fans live via Fox Sports World Canada”, said NLL Commissioner Jim Jennings. “FSWC recognizes the growing and passionate base of lacrosse fans in Canada, and understands the audience demand for playoff lacrosse”.

“We’re delighted to be bringing this hard-hitting live lacrosse action to our audience,” said Tim Kist, Director of Marketing for Fox Sports World Canada. “Lacrosse is Canada’s national summer sport, and we’re excited to be the only network in the country with exclusive coverage for these can’t-miss games.”

The 2006 RBK NLL Championship Game presented by Edge Active will also air live in the U.S., on ESPN2 May 13 at 6PM Eastern.
