Nick Diachenko Moved to Active Roster

TORONTO, ON – Toronto Rock General Manager Terry Sanderson has announced a couple of roster moves prior to Saturday’s home game against the Philadelphia Wings at 7pm at Air Canada Centre.

Rookie Nick Diachenko has been moved to the Active roster from Injured Reserve and will fill the roster spot vacated by Garrett Billings who was placed on the season ending Injured Reserve List.

The Buffalo Bandits selected Diachenko 14th overall in the 2013 NLL Draft.  He was signed by the Rock as a free agent on January 7th but was placed on the Injured Reserve shortly after that with a lower body injury.  The former Whitby Jr A Warriors standout hails from Courtice, Ontario and won the Minto Cup Canadian Junior A Championship in 2011.

On Saturday night, the Rock will face the Philadelphia Wings at 7pm at Air Canada Centre.  A Toronto win will clinch a playoff spot for the Rock for the 5th consecutive season.  For more information, please visit www.torontorock.com or phone 416-596-3075 to speak with a ticket representative get your hands on the BEST ticket in town.
