TORONTO, ON – RBC Royal Bank and the Toronto Rock are pleased to announce a partnership on a new initiative to help grow the game of lacrosse and get more youth involved in Canada’s National Summer Sport. RBC Play Lacrosse presented by the Toronto Rock will kick off this summer with four clinics in the Greater Toronto Area.
Toronto Rock star Garrett Billings will lead the clinics as participants will be taught about the rich history of the game of lacrosse as well as learning the basic skills of the sport. The program will be a fun and enjoyable experience for all youth enrolled in the clinics.
“We are excited to partner with RBC and get lacrosse sticks into more kids hands,” said Billings. “Growing the game is something that is near and dear to my heart and I look forward to continuing to expose the game I love to as many people as possible.”

August 1st – North York – Edithvale Community Centre – 10am, 11am & 1pm (1-hour sessions)
August 6th – Scarborough – Stephen Leacock Arena – 1pm to 3pm
August 13th – Brampton – Brampton Soccer Centre – 10am, 11am & 1pm (1-hour sessions)
The clinics will run in conjunction with recreation programs in the various municipalities and the introductory lacrosse instruction will be free of charge. The project is a part of the Toronto Rock’s continued goal of growing the game in partnership with RBC’s Learn to Play Project.
