ROCK ACQUIRE MIKE HOMINUK FROM RUSH

The Toronto Rock Lacrosse Club has acquired forward Mike Hominuck in a trade with the Edmonton Rush for a 2009 Third Round NLL Entry Draft Pick.  Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

A Welland, ON native, Hominuck tallied 47 points (15 goals, 32 assists) and collected 47 loose balls in 2009 with the Rush.

Having played with the Buffalo Bandits for the 2004 and 2005 seasons, Hominuck was then picked up by the Portland Lumberjax during the 2005 NLL Expansion Draft where he spent a season and a half in Portland before being traded to the Minnesota Swarm for the remainder of the 2007 season.

Midway through the 2008 season, Hominuck was acquired by the Edmonton Rush along with a 2008 first round NLL Entry Draft pick in exchange for AJ Shannon and a second round pick in the 2009 NLL Entry Draft.
