Rock Online Charity Auction Underway
Toronto, ON – The Toronto Rock online charity jersey auction is underway. Following Thursday’s game against Buffalo, fans were able to begin to bid on some classic Rock autographed jerseys. All proceeds from the online autographed jersey auction will be donated to Toronto’s Daily Bread Food Bank.
With the Rock bringing back their original jersey worn in the 1999 and 2000 seasons, fans can now bid on autographed jerseys of players from that era including Jim Veltman, Bob Watson and Dan Ladouceur.
Bidding will close on Thursday, March 7th at 10am ET. You can visit www.torontorock.com/auction and place your bid now.
Also open is the registration for the live game worn jersey auction that will take place on the floor immediately following the March 8th game against Colorado.
Registered bidders can pick up their bidding card outside the TeamShop until halftime. Bidders will each be allotted two wristbands to access the ACC floor for the live game worn jersey auction, which will be picked up at the same time as the bidding card. Additional friends and family will be able to sit in a designated section to watch the auction but will not be permitted on the floor with the other bidders.
To register for the live game worn jersey auction, please visit www.torontorock.com/auctionregistration.
The Rock will be at home next Friday night when they host the Colorado Mammoth at Air Canada Centre at 7:30pm. The Rock will be raising funds and collecting food donations for Toronto’s Daily Bread Food Bank at the game. If the game is a sellout, Rock Owner Jamie Dawick will donate an additional $25,000 to Daily Bread. For the best ticket in town, visit www.torontorock.com or call 416-596-3075.
