The Toronto Rock may have lost a heartbreaker in overtime, but they set a new franchise mark for the highest attendance for a home opener with 17,527 fans Saturday Jan. 7 at the Air Canada Centre.

The crowd was the second-largest opening-night crowd in NLL history, trailing closely behind the Colorado Mammoth home opener in 2004 against San Jose which drew 17,778.
