TORONTO ROCK CHARITY NIGHT

On Saturday April 5th the Toronto Rock take on the Rochester Knighthawks at the ACC at 7:00 p.m. Also included that evening is the Rock’s Annual Jersey Silent Auction.

The Auction is located on the concourse inside Gate 1 across from Centresports and begins when the ACC gates open at 6:00 pm and ends when the ball drops at the beginning of the third quarter. Fans will have the opportunity to bid on their favourite Rock player’s third jersey that he’ll be wearing during the game that evening. The highest bidders will be welcomed onto the floor after the game to meet the players and take the jersey they have won right off the players backs!

The Silent Auction will also include select game worn jersey’s from 2006 and 2007 and two special one-of-a-kind OLDFIELD Sports custom-made goalie masks game worn by Rock goaltender Bob Watson and New York Titans goalie Matt Vinc. Each mask has a unique design representing the Rock and the Titans and both masks were created in support of Les’s Fund and are a tribute to Les Bartley, the NLL Hall of Famer and Rock coaching legend who passed away from cancer on May 14th 2005. The unique masks were designed, created and generously donated by OLIE sports.

Proceeds from the silent auction will be donated to Les’s Fund and Ontario Special Olympics Ontario. In addition to the silent auction, Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment will donate $1 for every game ticket sold that evening to the mentioned charities.
