TORONTO – The National Lacrosse League have named Toronto Rock goaltender Bob Watson the Overall Player of the Week for this contribution to the team’s win last weekend.
 
The Rock defeated the Rochester Knighthawks at home on March 21st and Watson is accredited with the NLL honours this week for his role in leading the team to the victory.  Watson held the Knighthawks to just ten goals and saved 38 of 48 shots in the 16 -10 win over the Knighthawks at the Air Canada Centre.
 
The Toronto Rock (4-7) resume their schedule this weekend on Friday March 27th and Saturday March 28th when they travel to Calgary and Edmonton to face the Roughnecks and the Rush.
 
The team returns home on Friday April 3rd when they host the Boston Blazers for the first time at the Air Canada Centre.  Ball drop scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
